If walls could talk

Just across the Planetarium is the walled  city, Intramuros. The once defensive walls during the 1500's, now houses, schools, offices and different commercial establishments. But despite the number of years that has passed, Intramuros remains to be charming, with the old houses and the walls that holds history.

We just kept on walking until we found a spot to have our mini picnic. This area is one of the many Baluarte's inside Intramuros. Our spot is in from of Mapua University.

After eating and people watching. We spotted a sorbetero outside Mapua and we couldn't resist.

We were on our way home when we spotted a garden.

My son enjoyed just sitting in this area and didn't want to leave.
Here's a panoramic view of the garden.

And lastly, the guards also dress the part! And they gamely pose for a picture. Thank you, Kuya!
